As a relative beginner, I thoroughly enjoy Kate's informative and patient yoga instruction; from helping me improve my breathing and focus to providing hands-on support when learning new stretches. Kate's classes are really excellent - I always leave feeling both mentally and physically invigorated


After finding out at the age of 48 that I had severe arthritis for my age in my knees, I was advised to start yoga. I tried 2 or 3 ‘suitable for beginners’ yoga classes but I had never practiced yoga before and found these did not suit me at all. The rooms were large and with so many people in one room I struggled to watch the instructor and learn the positions. Thankfully I found Kate, she offered a true beginners class in her welcoming yoga studio with a maximum of 5 to a class. She slowly walked me through the basic poses and the positioning of my body and so helped me to practice yoga correctly, she is patient and always so positive that she makes you believe you can master any pose! It has been amazing for me, only 6 months on and I feel much stronger and able to try more challenging positions. My knees already feel so much better than I ever thought they would and I can’t recommend Kate enough as a yoga teacher.


I can’t rate Kate’s yoga classes highly enough. I ... have noticed a huge improvement in my flexibility and posture. Kate is gently ‘hands on’ and is very mindful of any areas where you might have injuries or problems. The atmosphere is calm, supportive and welcoming - it’s already become an essential part of my week!!


I have been practising yoga for many years now with several teachers, and most recently with Kate.  She has made me rethink my established practice and refreshed my yoga journey. I love both her Ashtanga Yoga and her Yin & Gong baths and look forward to every class in the knowledge I will always learn something new.
